Sheldon Battle
2008 Olympic Shot Put hopeful for the
United States of America

Realizing that the athlete is at the center of the
Olympic dream, we hope to raise awareness about the
journey and sacrifices they must make to fulfill
their dream. Battle Backers is a group of
supporters from Sheldon Battle’s hometown of
Jamestown, New York. In addition to having his
“back” we hope to raise money to defray his travel,
training and living expenses as he prepares for 2008
USA Olympic Track and Field Trials. A top three
finish at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon on
June 26-27 and Sheldon will represent the United
States at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
Please help us support Sheldon Battle by becoming a
Battle Backer.
