PLAYOFFS,
In the second round of the East Lake Playoff
race, Allied Fire/Community Bank won over
Cassadaga/Gerry 14-4. Brandon Dykstra had
the game winning double in the bottom of the
sixth inning,that sealed the victory for
Allied Fire/Community Bank. Brandon DePietro
helped the offensive charge for Allied
Fire/Community Bank with a double and a
single. Tristen Peterson also had two
hits,while Kane Dalrymple,Tony McNeil,Jordan
Armeli,Scott Roberts,Ryan Finn, and Richard
Allen all had one hit each for the winners.
Ryan Finn and Richard Allen put in the work
on the mound striking out 6 and giving up 7
hits for Allied Fire/Community Bank. B.J.
Moncelli hit a home run and a double while
John Barton had 2 hits for Cassadaga/Gerry.

7/21 -
PLAYOFFS,
Troy Flinchbaugh, Todd Harris, Ryan Buzzetto
and Jake Yartz Each had two hits with one of
Flinchbaughs being a triple as Jamestown
Savings Bank beat SW Kingsview/Cummins 14-11
in the opening round of the playoffs. Jake
Swan added a triple and Nick Melquist had a
double to help the victors. David Tapia had
three hits with a double to lead SW
Kingsview/Cummins and Jesse Bryerton and
Jake Currie added 2 hits with one of
Bryertons being a double.
Saturday
Baseball
7/19 -
PLAYOFFS,
In the first round of playoff, South Dayton
knocked off Cassadaga/Sinclairville 10-5.
Combining for the win were Lyle Howard and
Jason Howard. Big hits for South Dayton
were Travis Hunt with two triples and Zack
Fancher with three singles. Joey Gierzweski
and Eddie Barnes also had base hits for
South Dayton.
Cassadaga/Stockton
defeated Bemus Point VFW in the first round
of the play offs 15-2 in 5 innings. Collin
Ruge and Matt Woodard combined for a 2
hitter. Cody Oakes led the offence with a
triple and Zak Dorler, Kenny Oakes, and Adam
Zarczynski all had key hits in the game. VFW
Jacob Johnson had a double and Bryan Gorman
had a hit in the loss. Cassadaga/ Stockton
next game will be Thursday against the
winner of Bemus and Falconer Fireman in
Stockton.

7/18 -
In the 13-15 Division,
Ryan Kibbe broke open a close game with a
bases loaded double as Bemus Point beat
Bemus Point VFW 8 to 4 . Leighton Caskey
pitched a complete game 5 hitter and helped
himself with a 3 run homer and a single.
Jordan Farnham chipped in with 3 hits . For
the VFW , Brett Tordoff, Shawn Thompson,
Justin Brisky, Josh Alhstrom and Bryan
Gorman singled.

7/17 -
In the 13-15 Division,
All-Star Sports defeated Cassadaga/Gerry
12-11.
Cassadaga/Stockton
Defeated Kingview/Cummins 19-9 in 6 innings.
The offence was led by Zak Dorler who went 4
for 4 with a grand slam, triple, and 2
singles. Cody Oakes had 3 hits with a
double, Collin Ruge, Chris Briggs, and Matt
Woodard chipped in with 2 hits each. For
South Western J. Snow had 3 hits And S.
Marucci had 2 hits with a double in the
loss.
Ryan Buzzetto and Troy Flinchbaugh pitched a
2 hitter with 16 strike outs as Jamestown
Savings Bank beat Bemus VFW 6-5. Jake Swan
had two hits with a triple and Jake Yartz
added a 3 run triple for the victors. Zach
Hallberg and Shawn Thompson pitched a 5
hitter in defeat. Thompson and John
Nickerson each had a hit for Bemus VFW.
Catt-LV defeated Randolph 12-1 in 5 innings.
Steve Golembiewski and Josh Forster combined
for 9 strike outs and 4 walks allowing only
3 hits. The offense was lead by
Golembiewski with 3 hits. Forster, Sam
Agnew, Pat McGlew, Joe Delio, James Lenahan,
Joshua Pritchard all had a hit. Styles
had two hits and Ditcher had a single for
Randolph.
Richard Allen and Kane Dalrymple combined to
throw a 3 hitter while striking out 6, to
help Allied Fire /Commnity Bank win over
Bemus Point 12-0. Allen helped his own
cause by having two hits with one being a
triple and scoring three times. Leading the
offense for Allied Fire/Community Bank Tony
McNeal with two doubles. Brandon Dykstra
also had 2 hits one being a double. Scott
Roberts, and Jordan Armeli also had two
hits. Tristan Peterson and Tyler LaMonica
rounded out the offense with a single each
for Allie Fire/Community Bank. Jordan
Earnham, Aaron Germain, Wil Soffel, all
contributed with singles for Bemus Point.
Tuesday Baseball
7/15 -
In the 13-15
Division,
Frewsburg Keywell moved pass Southwestern in
the top of the fourth inning, ending with an
8-6 win. N Snow and S Murucci each sported a
doubles for Southwestern. J Sleasman
tripled, C Mitchell doubled, while.T Terhune
secured the win with 3 doubles.
Sawyer Eggleston and Jake Yartz pitched a 6
hitter as Jamestown Savings Bank beat
Cassadaga/Sinclairville 14-6. Yartz led
Jamestown Savings at the plate with 3 hits,
with one a double. Todd Harris had two hits
with a three run Home Run, Ryan Buzzetto had
a triple and double and Jake Swan, Troy
Flinchbaugh and Derek DeVlieger each added
two hits with one of Swans being a
triple.Six different players each had a hit
for Cass/Sinc with Mark Banse Fay having the
only extra base hit, a double.
South Dayton came back from a 9-0 defecit
after the second inning to beat Falconer
Fire 11-10. A triple by Eddie Barnes tied
the game up in the seventh inning, and Eddie
scored the winning run on a passed ball.
Thad Johnson, from Falconer Fire, had a
triple and a double and Alex Pickett had a
triple and two singles.
Monday Baseball
7/14 -
In the 13-15
Division,
South Dayton defeated Cassadaga/Sinclairville
12-5. Key hits for South Dayton were Zack
Fancher with a single and a double, Jason
Howard with two doubles, and Spencer Sticek,
Joey Gierzweski, and Marcus Astry with
singles. From the Cassadaga/Sinclairville
team T. Ruther had a double.
Kingsview/Cummins prevailed over Bemus VFW
18-4. Leading Kingsview/Cummins at the plate
was Nick Austin and David Tapia both with 3
hits including a double, with Tapia piling
up 5 RBI's. Shane Marucci contributed 3
singles with 3 RBI's. Jake Snow added 2
doubles. Jesse Bryerton and Jake Currie each
stroked 2 hits with a double, and Matt
Martin hit 2 singles. Robbie Newell and
Tapia combined for a 3-hitter with 6
strikeouts. For Bemus VFW, C. Danielson hit
a double, and B. Tordoff and D. Watermin
both singled.
Thad Johnson and Jared Aiken each had two
hits to lead the Falconer Firemen to a 7-6
win over All-Star Sports. Nick Yachetta
picked up the win for the Firemen. For
All-Star Sports, Riley Smith had three hits,
while John Mistretta and Justin Funcell both
added triples.
Kris Kruszka pitched a complete game 5
hitter with 11 strike outs as Gowanda
Gernatt beat Jamestown Savings Bank 7-4.
Alex M. had two hits with a double and
Turner Ashby and Anthony Rebmann each
doubled for the winners. Troy Flinchbaugh
pitched a 6 hitter with 11 strike outs in a
losing effort. Tanner Bush and Todd Harris
each had two hits for Jamestown Savings Bank
with one of Harris's being a double.
Ryan Finn struck out 6 and gave up 9 hits,
but a good offensive effort by Allied
Fire/Community Bank including 12 hits and
only 3 strike outs helped Allied
Fire/Community Bank win over Cassadage/Gerry,
14-5. Scott Roberts lead the charge with a
double and 3 singles. Also helping out were
Ryan Finn with 3 hits, and Tristan Peterson
and Richard Allen with 2 hits each. Tyler
Dykstra had a hit to round off the offense
for Allied Fire/Community Bank. BJ Monacelli
had 2 hits one being a double for Cassadaga/Gerry.
Carlson also had 2 hits and also scored a
run in the losing effort for Cassadaga/Gerry
Cassadaga/Stockton defeated Randolph 13-3.
Chris Briggs, Mike Lanphere, and Dakota
Morano combined for a 6 hitter. At the plate
Zak Dorler led the offence with three hits
including a double. Chris Briggs had two
hits with a triple, Mike Lanphere two hits
with a double, and Ron Forth and David
Lanphere each had two hits. L. Gonzales had
two hits in the loss.
Frewsburg Keywell Air Vac edged Bemus 6-2.
Dalton Peterson brought in 4 RBI’s for the
win . Nick Mitchell & Tailour Terhune had
hits for the win. Bemus offense
sported Alex Grace with a double, Leighton
Coskey and Jordon Farnham each with 2 hits,
and Josh Bernharat adding a single.
Sunday Baseball
7/13 -
In the 13-15
Division,
BJ Monacelli and Jordan Boughton combined
for a 3 hitter striking out 5 and walked 6.
Kevin Carlson led the way at the plate going
3 for 3 with a double and Jordan Boughton
was 2 for 4. BJ Monacelli added a double.
Jordan Farnham singled and Cuskey had 2
doubles for Bemus Point.
Saturday Baseball
7/12 -
In the 13-15
Division,
Aaron Germain's saftey squeeze in the top
half of the 8th inning scored Leighton
Caskey to give Bemus Point a hard fought 5
-4 win over AS sports.Caskey worked 3
innings in relief to get the win. He also
scored 4 of bemus's 5 runs. Jordan Farnham
added two hits for Bemus. Funcell had 3 hits
and Smith 2 hits for AS Sports
Community Bank / Allied defeated Cassadaga/Stockton
4-0.
Ryan Finn and Richard Allen combined to
throw 11 strikeouts and allow 5 hits,to help
lead Allied Fire/Community Bank over
Cassadaga/Stockton 5-0. Richard Allen
connected for 2 hits with one being a
double.Tyler LaMonica had one hit for a
double and Tyler Dykstra helped out with a
single. Cody Oakes and Collin Ruge combined
to strikeout 7 and allow 4 hits for
Cassadaga/Stockton.
Steven Olson's single scored Tyler Petersen
from second base in the bottom of the ninth
inning to give the Falconer Firemen a 9-8
victory over Frewsburg Keywell Vac Air.
Olson and Jared Aiken both had two hits
while Thad Johnson struck out 11 in 6
innings of relief for the Firemen. Jake
Sleasman had three hits, Chris Mitchell had
two triples, N. Fardink had two hits and
Dalton Peterson tripled for Keywell Vac Air.
The Bemus VFW defeated Cass./Sinclairville
10 to 7. The offence for Bemus was lead by
John Nickerson who had a single, double, and
triple. Zach Hallberg aslo had a triple to
help the cause. Jusin Brisky and Brett
Tordoff each chipped in with singles. Brisky,
Drew Bentham, and Tordoff were the pitchers
for Bemus. The offence for Cass./Sinc. was
lead by J. Kubera who had two singles and a
triple. M. Bansc-fay, Z. Kubera, and T.
Ruther each had singles. The Pitching for
Cass./Sinc. was lead by T. Ruther, and M.
Hallowell
Dylan Caldwell threw a 4 hitter striking out
9 and walked 5 in a 17-4 decision over
Kingsview / Cummings. Garret Nelson was 4
for 4, Andy Anderson was 2 for 3 with a
double and Kyle Pfieffer was aslo 2 for 3
for the victors. Marucci was 2 for 4
and Bryerton was 2 for 3 with a double for
Kingsview / Cummings.
Friday Baseball
7/11
In the 13-15
Division,
Josh
Kubera pitched a complete game and had three
hits, as the Cassadaga-Sinclairville team
defeated Southwestern 8 - 4. Zack Kubera and
Tage Ruther both had two hits. Matt
Hallowell had a hit and drove in three runs.
For Southwestern, N. Austin had three hits,
one was a double and J. Currie had a hit and
drove in two runs.
Josh Kubera pitched a complete game and had
three hits, as the Cassadaga-Sinclairville
team defeated Southwestern 8 - 4. Zack
Kubera and Tage Ruther both had two hits.
Matt Hallowell had a hit and drove in three
runs. For Southwestern, N. Austin had
three hits, one was a double and J.
Currie had a hit and drove in two runs.
Thursday Baseball
7/10 - In the 13-15 Division,
Nick Yachetta, Jared Aiken, and Thad Johnson combined to
throw a one hitter for the Falconer Firemen in a 20-2
victory over Bemus. Aiken had three hits, Johnson
singled and doubled, and Josh Ricotta, Chris Hall, and
Josh Foster each added two hits for the Firemen.
Leighton Caskey doubled for the lone Bemus hit.
Troy Flinchbaugh and Jake Swan pitched a 3 hitter with
11 strike outs as Jamestown Savings Bank beat All Star
Sports 5-3.Ryan Buzzetto had an RBI single and a Two Run
Home Run to lead Jamestown Savings. Swan and Todd Harris
each added two hits with both of Swans being doubles.
Justin Funcell and Riley smith each doubled for All Star
Sports and Evan Watson pitched a complete game with 12
strike outs in defeat.
Zack Fancher was the winning pitcher for South Dayton
allowing only 3 hits and having 10 strike outs. Hitters
for Catt/LV were Josh Forster with two singles and Zack
Mowry with a double. Contributing for the win from South
Daytong were Zack Fancher with a double and a triple,
Joey Gierzweski, Marcus Astry, Jason Howard, and Sean
Sticek each with two singles.
Cassadaga/Stockton defeated Cassadaga/Sinclairville 21-7
in 5 innings. Zak Dorler and Kenny Oakes Combined for 5
hitter. Ron Forth led the offence with 3 hits including
a double. Mike Lanphere hit 3 singles, Cody Oakes, Tyler
Johnson, and Kenny Oakes each had 2 hits and Derek Wise
chipped in with a double. For Sinclairville, Robby
Glover hit a double, and Mark Banse-Fay, Josh Kubera,
Matt Hallowell, and Tage Reuther each had a hit in the
lose.
Frewsburg Keywell Vac Air defeated
Cassadaga-Gerry 14-6. For the win, Dalton Peterson
contributed a triple and a double. Chris Mitchell, ,
Nick Mitchell, and Jacob Sleasman doubled, while Jake
Caldwell and Calvin Hartson chipped in singles. For
Cassadaga-Gerry, J Boughton hit a double and 2 singles,
while team mates B Monacelli, G Nelson, A Anderson and B
Boughton added hits for the defeat.
Scott Roberts and Kane Dalrymple allowed
only one hit and struck out eight, to help
lead Allied Fire/Community Bank to a win
over Bemus VFW 12-2, in five innings.
Brandon DePietro,and Ryan Finn each had 2
hits.Tristen Peterson scored 2 runs with one
hit.Tyler LaMonica, Brandon Dyksrta had one
hit each, along with Scott Roberts and
Jordan Armeli. Chris Danielson and John
Nickerson scored the only runs for Bemus
VFW.
Wednesday Baseball
7/9 - In the 13-15 Division, Ryan Buzzetto
and Jake Swan pitched a 6 hitter with 10 strike outs as
Jamestown Savings Bank beat Catt/LV 12-3. Buzzetto,
Swan, Tanner Bush and Ben Schuver each doubled for the
winners Gobembiewski and Mowry each hit 2 singles for
Catt/LV in defeat.
