7/18 - Jamestown Container defeated Eagles 5-4: Pitching was the name of the game as Jamestown Container beat the Eagles 5 -4 in the Jamestown Babe Ruth League playoffs.  Matt Spunaugle of the Eagles left the game due to an injury, however he threw 6 1/3 innings, allowing one run on 4 hits and had 13 strikeouts.  Jamestown Containers, Greg Miller threw 5 innings, allowing one run on two hits and had a total of 12 strikeouts.  Container scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to win 5 to 4.  The big hitter for Container was Curry Anderson 3 -3 with a triple. For the Eagles Matt Spunaugle was two for two with a double.  Nolan Farr and N'Kyle Taylor also had doubles.

 

7/16 - Jamestown Container defeated Johnston Construction 11-0: Jamestown Container pitchers allowed no runs on four hits, 5 strikeouts and 2 walks, as Container beat Johnston Construction 11 - 0. Pitching for Container were Greg Miller, Gannon Jackson, Adam Westley, Carlos Berrios and Andy Sampson. Jamestown Container pounded out 14 hits, David Morse, Tommy Liuzzo, Greg Miller, Curry Anderson and Carlos Berrios all going 2 - 4.  Hitting doubles for Container were Morse and Miller.  Triples were had by Berrios and Anderson.  The big blow of the game was a three run home run over the tennis court fence by Tommy D'Angelo. No hitter for Johnston had more than one hit.

7/9 - Jamestown Container defeated Jamestown Savings11-0: Jamestown Container's pitching trio of Curry Anderson, Greg Miller and TommY Liuzzo limited Jamestown Savings to no hits, 10 strike outs and 6 base on balls.  The final score was Jamestown Container 11, and Jamestown Savings 0.  Leading Container in the hitting department was David Morse who was 2 - 3 with a double.

7/7 - Jamestown Container defeated Johnstone Contractors 10-3:  Jamestown Container defeated Johnston Contractors 12 - 1.  Gannon Jackson of the Container team pitched a complete game, allowing one run on four hits, eight strikeouts and one base on balls.  Greg Miller was three for four with a double.  Calos Berrios was two for three and Tom D'Angelo contributed a double.  For Johnston, Nate DiTanto was two for two.

6/27 - Jamestown Container defeated Jock Shop 12-5:  Good hitting and great defense helped the Jamestown Container team beat the Jock Shop team 12 - 5.  Container had two double plays and some excellent outfield play to keep the game close until the bats finally came alive.  Container pounded out 14 hits including a 4 - 5 performance by Greg Miller.  Miller had a double, as did Andy Sampson who went 2 - 3 with 2 rbi and Ryan Toehmholdt.  Adam Westley, and Tom D'Angelo both were 2 - 3 as well.  For the Jock Shop Mike Marino, Ben Whitney and Richardo Guzman all hit homeruns.  Both Richardo and Alex Guzman had 2 -3 nights.  Container pitchers of Curry Anderson, Adam Westley, Ryan Roehmholdt and Tom Liuzzo held Jock Shop to just seven hits.

6/23 - Jamestown Container defeated Jamestown Savings 3-2:  Pitching was the name of the game as Jamestown Container beat Jamestown Savings 3 to 2. For Container Adam Westerly and Greg Miller had a total of 11 strikeouts,four base on balls and gave up two hits.  Not to be outdone Alec Johnson pitched a complete game for Savings giving up two hits, with ten strikeouts and 2 base on balls. No one on either team had multiple hits or extra base hits.

6/19 - Jamestown Container defeated Eagles 12-9:  Curry Anderson continued his torrid hitting by going 4 - 4 with a home run to lead Jamestown Container past the Eagles.  The final score was Container 12, the Eagles 9. Greg Miller was 2 for 2 with a double, while Tommy Liuzzo also had a double for Container.  For the Eagles Nekyle Taylor was four for four with an inside the park home run.  Also contributing for the Eagles was Matt Spunaugle with a triple.

6/16 - Jamestown Container defeated Jock Shop 14-9:  The baseballs were flying out of Bergman Field on Tuesday night when Jamestown Container met the Jock Shop in a very well played game.  There was a total of six home runs, three triples and three doubles. Jamestown Container won the slugfest 14 -9 over the Jock Shop.  Curry Anderson was four for four with three homeruns and a double that just missed leaving the park.  Greg Miller was 2 - 4 with a homerun and triple.  Adam Westley contributed a triple.  For the Jock Shop Mike Marino was four for four with a homerun.  Cody Crandall was 2 -2 with a home run and a triple. Alex Guzman and Cody Becker also had doubles.

6/13 - Jamestown Savings defeated Jamestown Container 10-3:  For Savings  Todd McGraw had 2 hits with a 2 run Hr., Alec Johnson Had 2 Hits with a 3 run Hr,Brian Conklin had a double and Bram Johnson Had 2 Hits and Pitched a complete game with 10 K's. For Container Adam Westley, Greg Miller, and David Morse each had 2 hits.

6/9 - Jamestown Container defeated Eagles 17-6:  The Jamestown Container team had it's hitting shoes on pounding out 17 runs on 14 hits.  Leading the way for Container was Curry Anderson with a Rutharian three run home run that cleared the Roseland Fence.  Anderson was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a total of six rbi.  Tommy Liuzzo was 3 for 4 with a double and 3 rbi.  David Morse and Carlos Barrios also contributed a doubles.  For the Eagles, collin Rodgers was 2 for 3 with 2 rbi.  Nekyle Taylor had a double and Jacob Gullo had a triple.

6/8 - Jock Shop defeated Jamestown Container 9-6:

6/2 - Jamestown Container defeated Johnston Contracting 16-5:  Adam Westley and Greg Miller allowed 5 runs on 5 hits and one walk as the Jamestown Container beat Johnston Contractiong 16 - 5. The only multi hit player for Johnston was Chris Brawdey who was 2 for 2 with a double and 3 rbi.  Also contributing for Johnston was Nathan Ditonto who had 2 rbi and a double.  Jamestown Container pounded out 16 hits with Tommy Liuzzo leading the way with 4 for 4 night, 3 rbi.  Adding to the hit list was Greg Miller 3 for 4 with two doubles, Carlos Berrios 3 for 4 with 4 rbi and a double. Tommy D'Angelo 2 for 3 with 4 rbi, and Gannon Jackson 2 for 3 with 2 rbi.

6/1 - Jamestown Container defeated Jamestown Savings Bank 7-2:  Gannon Jackson pitched 5 strong innings giving up 5 hits and recording 9 strike outs. Greg Miller came in to finish the final 2 innings allowing 3 hits with 3 strike outs. Several fine defensive plays by Andrew Sampson, Curry Anderson, and Adam Westley helped lead Container to a season opening victory.  Jackson, Millar, Westley,Carlos Berrios, Ryan Roehmholdt and Curry Anderson all had timely hits for the victors.  Savings Bank was led by Jake Dwailabee and Eric Streider with 2 hits, with doubles by Dwailabee, Bram Johnson and Todd McGraw. Alec Johnson worked 3 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts for Savings Bank.
