10/18 - Westside JVs defeated Dunkirk JVs 20-6:  On a beautiful fall day the Westside Panthers JV football team moved to the Jamfl championship game; by beating the Dunkirk Maruaders JV 20-6.  The ground attack was on point with the offensive line pushing back a great Dunkirk defensive line. Leading through those holes was Derek Anderson and Matthew Lombardo with Lombardo picking up some key first downs.  Graham Davis was the highlight of the day with some long runs and accumulating 171 yds and 2 TDs rushing. Davis was also on the receiving end of a Carson Peters pass for a 26 yd TD; peters threw for 46 yds on the day.  Westside's Defense was feeling alive sparked by Adam Gullo's 9 tackles most for a loss , Tyler Manelik had some nice tackles collecting 6 in total and Korbyn Nelson picked up his 4th int of the season.   Dunkirk defense played tough; Zach Ippolito, Isaiah Thomas and Evan Hernandez for the D-line while Jeremy Lockett, Teagan Raynor and Timothy Cerrie played hard at the second level.  The offense was led by Shane Martinez's one touchdown and Devante Grayson running attack.

The championship will be #1 Westside 7-0 vs #2 Northside 6-1 on 10.25.08.

10/11 - Dunkirk JVs defeated Cassadaga JVs 37-0:  Devante Grayson, Tanis Moore, Jaziah Rivera, Timothy Cerrie and Jeremy Lockett did the scoring for the offense.  The whole defensive unit played well for the Marauders.

10/4 - Westside JVs defeated Dunkirk JVs 25-7:  The Westside Panthers go unbeaten during regular season play and clinch division title beating the Dunkirk Marauders 25-7.  The offensive line, end to end, paved the way for the Westside Panthers  Graham Davis who carried the ball just 14 times and ran for 314 yards and 3 touchdowns and an extra point.  Matthew Lombardo and Derek Anderson were sealing the deal on the second level for Davis; with Lombardo scoring the other offensive TD.  The Panthers defense played well holding the Marauders to only one score.  Corbin Nelson was head of the pack with 8 tackles and a interception.  Nicholas Bigney, Dakota McIntyre, and Adam Gullo all had good days recording 7 tackles each.  The defensive  standout for Dunkirk was #27 Thomas who had an impressive day.

9/27 - Dunkirk JVs defeated Fredonia JVs 28-6:  Saturday's game featuring Fredonia JV vs Dunkirk JV led to a score of 28-6 with Dunkirk being the victors.  Travis Maxwell led in scoring for Dunkirk with 2 TD's and 150 yds rushing.  Devante Grayson and Shane Martinez each had a TD while Milton Kleckley scored all 4 PATS.  Mike Pucci had the lone touchdown for Fredonia with a 35 yard scamper.  For Fredonia, Rich Banach, Jarod Burmaster and Ben McKelvey led the defense.

9/20 - Southwestern JVs defeated Dunkirk JVs 42-19:  The Southwestern Spartans JV's defeated the Dunkirk Marauders on Saturday on Charles A. Lawson Field at the new Southwestern athletic complex.  A tenacious Southwestern defense forced 3 turnovers in the second half of the game which allowed the Spartans to cruise to an easy 42-19 victory.  Jared Drocy connected with Ben Burk on touchdown passes of 34 and 42 yards.  Nick Cooper lead the Southwestern ground attack with 14 carries for 157 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Jarrett Yuchnitz added 115 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.  Dale Linkous and Ryan Hetrick lead the Spartan defense with 10 tackles apiece.  Nate Priester and Brendan Kennedy each added 7 tackles.

9/6 - Dunkirk JVs defeated Frewsburg JVs 13-12:  The Marauders’ offense, Travis Maxwell had multiple carries while Devante Grayson scored two touchdowns and Shane Martinez scored the “winning” extra point.  Alex Jimenez and Jeremy Lockett worked well for the defense while Dominic Baez made the “game saving” tackle.  The Bears’ Micah Riolo rushed for over 100 yards plus two touchdowns.  Brady Collver led the defense with nine tackles.  Frewsburg’s fourteen player team all played with a lot of pride and never gave up.

8/30 - Dunkirk JVs defeated Falconer JVs 12-7:  The Dunkirk Marauder JV’s were victorious over the Falconer Tigers JV’s on Saturday, August 30th.  Falconer scored 7 points in the first half with Player #23 scoring the touch down for the Tigers and the Falconer Quarterback scored the extra point on a bootleg.  Devante Grayson scored the Marauders’ two touch downs in the second half.  Marauder defensive player Isaiah Thomas had numerous stops in the back field along with Jared Mets’ tackles.  Marauder offensive players Shane Martinez and Timothy Cerrie both had great runs.
