10/25 - Frewsburg defeated Westside 18-14:  Frewsburg finished the season strong behind the great blocking of the offensive line.  Nick Long had a 74 yd TD run, and finished with 11 carries for 152 yds.  Derick Smith had a 20 yd TD run, and finished with 15 carries for 120 yds rushing.  Dylan Ownbey reached paydirt with a 5 yd run.  Caleb Eckman and Ownbey each had a fumble recovery.  The Bears defense was led by Long with 12 tackles, Zach Haller had 7 tackles, Colin Anderson and Ownbey had 5 tackles each.  The Westside Panthers air attack was led by Joshua Calwell, and Patrick Schmelzinger with a 35 and 45 yd TD pass.  Calwell passed to Dylan for a 2 pt. conversion.  Honorable mention for Westsides defense, Hunter Peterson and Patrick Schmelzinger.

10/18 - Westside defeated Falconer 35-7:  Saturday the weather was crisp and so were the Westside Varsity Panthers as they rolled to a 35-7 victory over the visiting Falconer Tigers.  Patrick Schmelzinger led the way with 11 tackles an interception return for a TD and a Forced Fumble. On the offensive side Schmelzinger scampered for a 41yd TD.  Damian Taylor had two rushing TD’s one than went for 65yds and another for 31yds totaling 124yds for the day.  Josh Colwell rushed for 135 yards and a TD.  For Falconer Jacob Youngberg scored the lone TD on a 10YD run.  Westside will face the winner of the Cassadaga and Frewsburg next weekend.

9/27 - Westside defeated Frewsburg 12-6:  On a steamy fall day in Frewsburg the Westside Panther took a 12-0 lead and held on to win 12-6.  It was air attack of Damian Taylor throwing to Patrick Schmelzinger for two TD’s 9yds and 16yds which led the way.  Taylor added 124 yds rushing, while Schmelzinger anchored the Westside Defense with 9 Tackles and a recovered fumble.  Cameron Haberberger also had 7 tackles for Westside. In the trenches Trevor Thomas dug in for four tackles and two assists.  For Frewsburg Derek Smith had 84 yds rushing and Nick Long had 75 yds rushing and a TD. Collin Anderson let the Bear defense with 7 Tackles.

9/20 - Westside defeated Cassadaga 7-6:  Westside Panther Damian Taylor scored a TD late in the fourth qtr and added a crucial extra point to allow Westside to chalk up its first victory of the year Taylor finished up with 91 Yards rushing. Patrick Schmelzinger kept the game winning drive alive by grinding out a key first down on a 4th and 10 play. Schmelzinger finished up with 43 yards rushing. Defensively Hunter Peterson Josh Colwell and Cameron Hababerger each had 3 Tackles. For Cassadaga Jordan Crabtree threw a great pass to Josh Welch to start the game that went for 65 Yards and a TD.

9/13 - Fredonia defeated Westside 6-0:

9/6/08 - Northside defeated Westside 7-0:  Branden Johnson led the way with 14 carries for 119 yards. Johnson scord the lone touch down on a 21 yrd run and the ex pt. Ben larson had 51 yards rushing. Defensively, Connor Stam, Harrison Tyra, Jacob Johnson and levi Smith all had 9 Tackles each. Cameron Weaver added 4 tackles. Westside Matthew Hoaglund led the rushers with 52 yard. Cameron Haberger had 7.5 Tackles to lead the defense and Josh Colwell had 4.5 tackels and a forced fumble.

8/30 - Southside defeated Westside 12-0:  A well balanced running attack and solid defense led the Southside Blue Devils over the Westside Panthers 12-0 Saturday afternoon at Strider Field. Michael Gustafson rushed for 90 yards and scored on a 1-yard run. Karee Rizzo-Walker ran for 60 yards and hit paydirt on a 14-yard scamper to round out the scoring in the first half. Matt Nazzaro chipped in with 48 yards rushing on just 6 carries. The Blue Devil defense was led by Andrew Caldwell and Kyle Liuzzo with 6 tackles each. Gustafson chipped in with 5 tackles as well. Southside also had key fumble recoveries by Jonathan Healy, Devin Kent and Jacob Mcbride. Westside was led on the ground by Matt Hoagland. Damien Taylor and Hunter Peterson were standouts for the Panther defense with 6.5 and 5.5 tackles respectively.
