Purple defeated
Yellow 1-0 in a rain soaked game on
Wednesday night. It was a scoreless game
through nearly three quarters of play until
Andrell Leeper scored a goal with assists
from Kameron Melendez and Nathan Franklin.
Yellow persisted with a strong effort in the
fourth quarter and nearly tied the score but
time ran out on the comeback attempt. In
goal for Purple was Caden Harvey, Andrell
Leeper, Tim Galati and Nathan Franklin. Hans
Vanderzyden, Calvin Ricker, Andrew Nelson,
and Dustin Hultenberg manned the goal for
Yellow. Quinn Kearney chipped in an
excellent defensive effort for the winners.
