The Frewsburg Bears are the varsity 2011 LSMFL champions after defeating the Brocton Bulldogs 12-0 in the chamionship game. Leading the Bears defense was Seth Janzek with 12 tackles and a fumble recovery. Cole Gregory had 10 tackles and Brady Colver pitched in with 9 tackles. Michael Welsh connected with Trevor Micek for a 15 yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to lead Bemus Point to a 28 - 24 win in playoff action. Welsh also found Brody Nolan for a 60 yard touchdown reception. Welsh finished with 136 yards passing while Kass Howard led the Dragons in rushing with 87 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Chris Krempa had an interception while Nick Fabrizio blocked and recovered a Panama punt.

Josh Odell was impressive for the Panthers. He produced rushing touchdowns of 67 and 40 yards. Quarterback Ryan Applebee also hooked up with Odell in the third quarter for a 40 yard touchdown completion.

Utilizing the combined efforts of all team members, the Chautauqua Lake Varsity T-Cats easily beat the Westfield Varsity Golden Hawks 38-8 in the final round of the Lake Shore Midget Football playoffs. Quarterback Avery Webb connected with Stephen Pihl to start the scoring with a 38 yard pass. Nick Hudson continued with a touchdown and conversion to put CL on top 14-0. The Bemus Point JV Dragons defeated the Chautauqua Lake Thundercats, in Bemus, on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Final score of the game was 32 to 12. The Bemus Point Dragons came out, the month of October, wearing pink socks and wrist bands, pink helmet decals and pink tape on their cleat laces. The Bemus Point Cheerleaders wore pink shoe laces and beautiful pink ribbon hair .....

The Panama Panthers JV team moved on to the championship game with a tough overtime win against the Chautauqua Lake Thundercats. Dalton Goldberg scored the Panthers only touchdown in regulation. On a cold and blustery Saturday afternoon, the Chautauqua Lake Varsity Thundercats outscored the Sherman Ripley Varsity Wild Eagles 30 – 12 in round one of the Lake Shore Midget Football playoffs.
