The 2011 Labatts Spring Fling got under way tonight at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena.  The Spring Fling is an adult hockey tournament that runs throughout the weekend.  Fredonia Beaver Club was up 5-3 over Herbs For Life in the second period of play.  Check back for an updated score.  Stop down to the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena this weekend and check out the action!!

The Jamestown Lakers Pee Wee B team went out to Chautauqua Lake for a little good old fashioned "pond hockey". Coaches and players made the most out of the good weather and the lake ice where the played hockey all weekend.

2/28/10 - Lakers Pee Wee B defeated Cazenovia B 7-2: Trevor Dykstra and Jake Tota each recorded a hat trick in a 7-2 win over Cazenovia B Sunday in Buffalo. Dykstra scored unassisted, as well as assists from Tota and Tristan Myers. Tota scored unassisted twice and assisted by Matt Elia. Jacob Zwieg rounded out the scoring unassisted. Ryan Pascarella was in goal for Jamestown.

1/31/10 - Cazenovia tied Jamestown Lakers Pee Wee B 3-3: Jamestown Pee Wee B tied Cazenovia B at JSBIA 3-3. Lakers goals scored by Jacob Zwieg from Bryce Raymond, Jarred Ristau from Griffin Noon and Nolan Ditcher, and Ditcher from Ryan Pascarella. Trevor Dykstra was in goal for Jamestown. Caz goals were scored by Brandon Sanchez, L. Krug, and N. Miller.

12/27/09 - Jamestown Lakers Pee Wee B defeated the Cheektowaga 6-1: Trevor Dykstra recorded the win in goal as Jamestown Lakers Pee Wee B defeated Cheektowaga II 6-1 Sunday at J.S.B.I.A. Ryan Pascarella recorded the hat trick for Jamestown while Matt Elia, Nolan Ditcher, and Jacob Zwieg each recorded a goal. Assists went to Jarred Ristau with 3, Griffin noon with 2, Elia, Zwieg, and Jake Tota with 1. Cheektowaga's lone goal was scored by Max Allen assisted by Nick Gioia and Cole Belschen.

On December 12, 2009, the Tasta Pizza Jamestown Lakers Bantam Minor team experienced the "Winter Classic" ice rink in East Aurora. Buffalo made history on January 1, 2008, when it hosted the first outdoor NHL game at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The rink equipment was later purchased by the Aurora Association and a tribute "Winter Classic" rink was constructed in East Aurora. The Tasta Pizza Bantams played at the rink on December 12th against Monroe County. It was a perfect winter weather day in western new york with temperatures in the 24-30 degree range with plenty of the snow on the ground following the first western new york winter storm. Although the Jamestown Lakers fell to Monroe County 7-2, it was a great afternoon outside on the ice. Goals were scored by Dylan Bergman and Billy Krywy with an assist by Cole Stuart. Tommy Fales was in goal.

11/28/09 - Jamestown Lakers Pee Wee B defeated Cheektowaga II 6-1: Jamestown Lakers Pee Wee B won 6-1 vs Cheektowaga II in Cheektowaga Saturday. Jamestowns goals were scored by Jarrod Ristau assisted by Ryan pascarella. Pascarella assisted by Tristan Myers, Griffin Noon assisted by Bryce Raymond, Raymond unassisted, Noon from Jacob Zwieg and Hunter Thorpe, and Pascarella unassisted. Trevor Dykstra was in goal for Jamestown. Jack Frisicaro scored for Cheektowaga II assisted by Cole Belscher.

10/18/09 - Jamestown Lakers Pee Wee B defeated Fredonia 5-1: Ryan Pascarella recorded 2 unassisted goals with Griffin Noon, Jake Brown (unassisted) and Tristan Myers each tallying 1 goal for Jamestown. Jamestown assists went to Brown, Jarrod Ristau and Jake Tota. Trevor Dykstra was in goal for Jamestown. Josh Crane scored for Olean.

Over Columbus Day weekend the Bantam Minors did not have any games scheduled so they volunteered their time on their day off of school to spend the morning with children with disabilities who participate in a Respite Program. The Respite Program is run by the Resource Center and is attend by children with various disabilities. The Columbus Day program was held at the Audobon and the team spent the morning, hiking with the children, observing the animals and playing games.
