Jammers Promotional Schedule

The Jamestown Jammers are set to start an action-packed 2008 season filled with great promotional nights at Diethrick Park.

The Jammers start the season off right with their traditional Opening Night Fireworks Tuesday, June 17, sponsored by Superior Bat Company. This year marks the return of the Jammers' traditional, fan favorite fireworks shows of old with the fireworks launched from behind the stadium! Fireworks also return to Diethrick Park on July 1 with our Independence Day fireworks extravaganza sponsored by Budweiser.

Wednesday, June 18 marks the return of Education Day at the ballpark. The Jammers will welcome all students grades 5-8 from Chautauqua and Cattaraugus County to take part in a special curriculum designed around the American pastime with a special 10:45 a.m. start.

Two of our most loved promotions return for 2008- the sixth annual Carlson's Jewelry Diamond Dig (June 26) and Nestle/Purina Bark in the Park (July 11). The Diamond Dig will once again give all ladies in attendance the opportunity to walk away with a brand new diamond ring, while Bark in the Park will let fans catch the game with their furry friends. Also returning in 2008 will be the always popular Faith Night presented by The Heritage Group. Contemporary Christian recording artist Kent Bottenfield will highlight the night with a live pre-game concert.

The Jammers bring back simply the best value in the region for 2008 with Smith's Dollar Nights. Drop by the park on July 9, July 23, July 30 and August 6 for $1.00 General Admission tickets, $1.00 Coca-Cola products and $1.00 Budweiser products. With gas prices and nearly everything else going through the roof, no one else can offer such great family value!

The Jammers unveil their new theme nights in 2008. Game night music, trivia and more will make for great nights of fun at the park during these evenings. They include 50s Night (July 21), 70s Night (August 27), Star Wars Night (August 10), Tribute to Obscure Sports Night (August 26), and Salute to Imperfection Night (August 28) - a night of poking fun at the most infamous imperfect team in sports history, the New England Patriots.

A special 5K run will be the Jammers' special take on a pennant race with the first annual Jammers Pennant Race (July 13).

The giveaways for 2008 will be highlighted with a logo baseball giveaway on Post-Journal Night (July 12) and the Jammers' 2008 team baseball card set on Falconer Printing Night (August 11).

Tickets for all games as well as dates for group outings are available now by calling (716) 664-0915.
