7/7 - Jamestown Container defeated Johnstone Contractors 10-3:
Jamestown Container
defeated Johnston Contractors 12 - 1. Gannon Jackson of the
Container team pitched a complete game, allowing one run on four
hits, eight strikeouts and one base on balls. Greg Miller was
three for four with a double. Calos Berrios was two for three
and Tom D'Angelo contributed a double.
For Johnston,
Nate DiTanto was two for two.

7/6 - Jamestown Savings defeated Eagles 10-3:
Kenny Dirling
had a double and Brian Conklin had 2 hits while Bram Johnson
pitched a complete game giving up 3 hits with 8 strike outs for
Jamestown Savings.Nekyle Taylor ,Zarek Bettis and Nolan Ryan
each had a hit for the Eagles.

7/4 - Jamestown 12U 70' defeated Evans 12U 70' 18-1:
In the second game of the
12u 70' Dist 7 tournament, the Jamestown All-Stars defeated the
Evans All Stars 18-1 to advance to the state tournament in
Canandaigua, NY on July 17-19th. Jamestown got on the
winning track in the 1st inning when lead off hitter, Noah
Weinstein belted a solo HR over the "Bergman Monster".
Jamestown led 6-0 after the 1st inning and never looked back,
belting out
14 hits. conner stam went 4-5 with a 2b, derek foe 2 hits, and
weinstein 2 hits, 6 other players also had singles. joe bogdan
connected for 2 hits to led the evans allstars. jamestowns ben
larson and steven carlson combined for 9k's and NO walks.

7/3 - Jamestown 12U 70' defeated Evans 12U 70' 5-4:
Dist 7 12U 70' All-Stars got underway Friday night under the
lights at Bergman Park with the Jamestown defeating the Evans
5-4. Derek Foe pitched a complete game with only 4 hits, 2
walks, and 2 strikeouts. Foe led the offense with 2rbis to
set the pace. Conner Stam connected for 2 hits, and Noah
Weinstein a single. Evans had 4 singles by Josh Wheeler, Ryan
Southwick, Sean Schneider,and Jordan Balton. The teams
play again at 2pm, and if needed game at 4pm at Bergman Park.

6/27 - Jamestown Container defeated Jock Shop 12-5:
Good hitting and great defense helped the Jamestown Container
team beat the Jock Shop team 12 - 5. Container had two double
plays and some excellent outfield play to keep the game close
until the bats finally came alive. Container pounded out 14
hits including a 4 - 5 performance by Greg Miller. Miller had a
double, as did Andy Sampson who went 2 - 3 with 2 rbi and Ryan
Toehmholdt. Adam Westley, and Tom D'Angelo both were 2 - 3 as
well. For the Jock Shop Mike Marino, Ben Whitney and Richardo
Guzman all hit homeruns. Both Richardo and Alex Guzman had 2 -3
nights. Container pitchers of Curry Anderson, Adam Westley,
Ryan Roehmholdt and Tom Liuzzo held Jock Shop to just seven
hits.
6/27 - Local Parks defeated MRC:
It was the final game of the season for Local Parks 418. We
started off slow in the first two innings. We were down 4-1 in
the top of the 3rd. We started getting the bats going by having
5 runs in the 3rd inning, and added another 5 in the 4th.
Players of the game for Local Parks were Dylan Hultberg who went
2 for 3, and had a double with 2 RBI's, Andrew Pumford who was 2
for 3 with a double,and one RBI, Nicholas Marsh who wnt 2 for 2
with a double, and Zach Peterson who went 2 for 2 with an RBI.
Other outstanding players were Tyler Blizzard wo had a hit and
RBI, Matthew Southwick who went 2 for 2 with an RBI, Conner
Flores who had a hit and an RBI, Nate Hill who went 2 for 2 with
an RBI. Players of the game for MRC were Nick Rizzo wo has two
hits, Grayson Holt who went 3 for 3, and Raynal Lemke who had
two hits. My team ended with a 10-2 record. Two of our games
were rained out, but never made up. Local Parks had an awesome
season. I'm proud of every one of them. They have come back to
win several games, pulling together as a team. A coach couldn't
be more proud. Thank you to all the parents who have supported
our team from day one. I also would like to thank my team parent
Nancy who was wonderful. My thanks to the assistant coaches and
fathers who stepped in when I needed help. Thank for a great

6/27 - Pizza Hut defeated Reeds 16-1:
Pizza Hut and Reeds ended their season with Pizza Hut dominating
the game 16 to 1. Brady McIntyre,Kylen Faulkner and Zackery
Hamilton were the players of the game for Reeds. With so many
great defensive plays and multiple hits by every player,Pizza
Hut made the whole team players of the game.

6/25 - Pizza Hut defeated SKM 9-3:
Gabriel Colon,Jayden Shultz and Christian Dolce all made great
defensive plays and RBI's to give Pizza Hut the win. Dylan
Linetta,Mason Carlson,Isiah Rojas and Gavin Bowen were the
players of the game for SKM's final game of the season.

6/23 - Jamestown Container defeated Jamestown Savings 3-2:
Pitching was the name of the game as Jamestown Container beat
Jamestown Savings 3 to 2. For Container Adam Westerly and Greg
Miller had a total of 11 strikeouts,four base on balls and gave
up two hits. Not to be outdone Alec Johnson pitched a complete
game for Savings giving up two hits, with ten strikeouts and 2
base on balls. No one on either team had multiple hits or extra
base hits.
6/23 - Consistory tied LSS 10-10:
Consistory and L.S.S. battled it out to a 10-10 tie in the T
ball division on Tuesday night. Lizzie Delong, Luke Kelsey and
Devin Mistretta were the MVP's for the Consistory team. While
Colin Wynn, Cole Simmons and Damon Tanner were the MVP's for the
L.S.S. team.
6/23 - Reeds defeated MRC 4-1:
MRC and Reeds Jewelers battled it out on Tuesday night. MRC
brought a strong defensive game. MRC's Rayal Hough ran down a
Reeds player at home to prevent a run. Jamal Rogers had an out
at third,and Nick Rizzo made several plays at first, to hold
Reeds scoreless for two innings. But in the third inning Reeds
got the bats warmed up, and brought a couple of runs in. Reeds
was able to score two more runs in the fourth inning to edge out
MRC 4-1. Great game and a great season.

Tim Truver as our new 7-8 Vice President.

assistants to the President. Lynn
Madden is the 2009 All-Star Coordinator.
