6/24 - Trucklite defeated Weinsteins 14-11: Truck
Lite defeated Weinstein 14 to 11. Leading the way for Truck
Lite was Devon Jackson who went 4 for 4. Noah Johnson was 2 for
4 with a triple. For Weinstein Noah Weinstein was 3 for 4 with
2 doubles and Andrew Latona also double.
6/18 - Lions Club defeated Weinstein's 11-9: Lios
club defeated Weinsteins in a thrilling game between two of the
league's top contenders. Jorge Torres led the team with two
hits. Tyler Coulter chipped ina triple an Max Eimiller and Matt
Elia added doubles. Noah Weinstein paced the losers with three
hits, including a two run homerun.
6/14 - Eagles defeated Weinsteins 13-4:
6/14 - Trucklite defeated Weinsteins 8-3:
Leading the
way for Truck Lite was Noah Johnson with 2 singles. Devon
Jackson and Dylan Glatz each singled. The 3 players also
combined on the mound to give up only 3 hits. For Weinsteins
Drew Gata, Jared Ristau and Andrew Marberry each had singles.
6/12 - Lions Club defeated Weinsteins 13-12:
The
Lions Club staged a dramatic two out rally in the bottom of the
6th inning to defeat Weinsteins and claim the 2010 Dick Walker
Tournament Championship. The Lions jumped out to an early 7-1
lead but Weinsteins put up 6 runs in the 4th to tie the game at
7. The Lions came right back with four runs in their half of
the inning with Jorge Torres providing the big blow with a three
run double. Weinsteins came right back in the 6th and took the
lead behind a two run triple by Noah Weinstein and go ahead
double by Kameron Rizzo Walker. The Lions mounted a dramatic
comback in the last half of the sixth. With two outs Kyle
Liuzzo smashed a 2 run triple scoring Dakota McIntyre and Jake
Tota to win the game for the Lions. McIntyre and Tota each
scored four runs for the Lions while Adam Gullo added two hits
and Andrew Latona a double for Weinsteins.
6/10 - Weinsteins defeated Lions Club 10-0:
Noah
Weinstein, Adam Gullo, and Kameron Rizzo-Walker combined for a 1
hitter to lead the Weinstein Scrappers to a 10-0 decision over
the Lions Club in the Dick Walker Tournament. The
Scrappers had 7 hits in 5 inning game called by the 10 run rule.
The only hit for the Lions was a single by Marion Saldano.
The same 2 teams will meet Sat night at 8pm for the
championship.
6/8 - Weinsteins defeated Eagles Club 19-6:
The
Weinstein Scrappers belted 11 hits to defeat the Eagles Club
19-6. Noah Weinstein connected for a GRAND SLAM HR and 2b,
Drew Gaeta had 2 hits with 2b, Carson Peters 2b, Andrew Latona
2b, Kameran Rizzo-Walker 2b, and Adam Gullo had 2 hits.
The Eagles were led by Chad Nelson who hit a 2b and pitched 2
innings giving up only 2 hits. The Weinstein Scrappers and
the Lions Club will play for the Dick Walker Champonship on Sat
6/12 at 8pm.
6/4 - Weinstein Scrappers defeated Lakeview Landscaping 6-1:
The
Weinstein Scrappers were led by Noah Weinstein, Adam Gullo, and
Kameron Rizzo-Walker on the hill with 12k's to defeat Lakeview
Landscaping 6-1. Weinstein belted 2 doubles and Andrew
Latona also had a 2b.
6/1 - Weinsteins defeated Trucklite 4-3:
In
the first game of the Dick Walker Tournament, sometimes it
better to be lucky than good. The Weinstein Scrappers were
leading 4-3 in the bottom of the 6th inning and Trucklite had
the bases loaded with 1 out when a line drive was hit right to
the first basemen, Andrew Latona who turned a double play to end
the game. There were only 3 hits in the game, 2 by Dylan
Glatz and 1 by Drew Gaeta.
5/29 - Lakeview defeated Weinsteins 8-5:
5/29 - Weinsteins defeated Eagles 17-10:
In a
offense showing with 19 hits, the Weinstein Scrappers defeated
the Eagles Club 17-10. Noah Weinstein 3-3 w/2b, Adam Gullo
3-3, Carson Peters, Jacob Samuelson, and Dylan Pratt all had 2
hits, Andrew Latona belted a 2b. The Eagles Club was led
by Jacob Quattone, Gunner Carlson, and Steven Brambecker who all
had 2 hits each.
5/25 - Weinsteins defeated Eagles Club 9-1:
The
Weinstein Scrappers defeated the Lions Club 9-1 behind the
hitting of Noah Weinstein 2- 2b's, Andrew Latona 2b, and Adam
Gullo 2b. Latona came in the 6th and preserved the win.
Matt Sherman had 2 hits with a 2b, and Gunner Carlson connected
for a 2b for the Lions Club.
5/24 - Weinstein's defeated Lions 8-5:
Adam
Gullo led the Weinstein Scrappers with a home run and a 2b to a
8-5 victory over the Lions Club. Drew Gaeta chipped in 2 hits w/
a 2b, Andrew Latona also connected with a 2b. For the
Lions Club Marion Saldano and NiKo Pannes both had 2 hits.
5/21 - Weinsteins defeated Lakeview Landscaping 13-8:
Weinstein Scrappers defeated Lakeveiw Landscaping 13-8.
Adam Gullo led the offense with a 3 run HR, Carson Peters belted
a 3b, Andrew Latona 2b, Jacob Samuelson 2b, and Armondo Arce had
2 hits. Zach Schupp hit a 2b for Lakeveiw Landscaping.
Gullo, Kameron Rizzo-Walker, and Peters combined for the WIN
striking out 8 and giving up only 6 hits for the powerfull
Lakeview Landscaping.
5/18 - Weinstein's defeated Trucklite 7-2:
Adam
Gullo, Noah Weinstein, and Carson Peters combined for a 1 hitter
to lead Weinsteins to a 7-2 victory over Trucklite. On offense
Weinstein had a 3 run homerun and Jacob Samuelson had a key hit
in the 4th inning with 2 rbi's. Pitching was excellent for
the Trucklite defense. Dlyan Glatz, Noah Johnson, and
Devin Jackson combined for 15 k's and allowed only 3 hits.
5/15 - Lakeview Landscaping defeated Weinsteins 10-7:
Lakeview Landscaping defeated the Weinstein Scrappers 10-7 in an
8 inning thriller. Leading Lakeview were Derek Foes two hits
with a triple and Alex Simmons game winning hit. Leading
Weinsteins were Adam Gullo who crushed a home run and Kameron
Rizzo-Walker with a double.
5/6 - Weinsteins defeated Lions Club 18-17:
In a game that was running late, the lights had to be turned
on to determine a winner in this one. A chilly night at
Bergman Park started to warm up due to a late surge by Lions
Club. Lions battle back only to be edged by one run.
Andrew Latona led the bats for Weinstein's going 3 for 3 with a
double. Adam Gullo went 2 for 2 with a homerun that hit
the scoreboard. For Lions Club, Dakota McIntyre went 2 for
2 with a double.
5/4 - Weinsteins defeated Eagles 20-4:
After going 1-1 in the first 2 games for the Weinstein Scrappers
they got back on the winning track by defeating the undefeated
Eagles Dlub 20-4. Noah Weinstein led the offense going 3-3 with
a homerun over the Bergman Monster, Drew Gaeta had 3 hits with a
2b, and Adam Gullo a 2b. Weinstein, Gullo, and Carson Peters
were on the hill striking out 11 and allowing 5 hits. Gunner
Carlson had a 2b, Jacob Zwieg and Michael Gustafson both had 2
hits.
4/30 - Lakeview Landscaping defeated
Weinsteins 7-3:
Lakeview Landscaping defeated Weinsteins 7-3 with Zach Schupp
and Derek Foe leading the way with two hits each with Zach
getting a double and Derek getting a triple. Drew Gaeta hit a
double in a losing effort.
4/29 - Weinsteins defeated Trucklite 11-2:
In the first game of the season for the
Weinstein Scrappers they came out swinging
and played a errorless game by defeating
Trucklite 11-2. On offence the
Scrappers were led by veteran Adam Gullo who
belted 2 doubles and Andrew Latona connected
for a 2b. Jacob Samuelson was the
player of the game for his fine defense at
second base. Devan Jackson belted a 3b
and Noah Johnson had 2 hits for Trucklite |
